My name is Wes Hather and I’m an entrepreneur. I spend most of my time working on Team Apart and I like to get my hands dirty in various consulting gigs. When I’m not working, I love exploring and playing outdoors. I’m also a big hot yoga fan! No it’s not girly; it’s actually one of the hardest workouts I’ve ever endured in my life and it gets you in shape super quickly.

Before starting my own business with my buddy Gordon early last year, I was a software engineer at Flying Lab Software working on the MMORPG Pirates of the Burning Sea. This was a really fun company to work for and I met a lot of awesome people, but I felt an overwhelming need to develop my own stuff. If anybody is contemplating taking the jump and starting their own venture, I highly recommend it. It’ll make you a stronger person.

I went to school at University of Washington (GO HUSKIES!!!) and studied computer science. Learned a lot of great stuff but I can’t believe how many furries were in my class. They either had the fox ears or the fox tail; I never did see the entire suit. I don’t understand the whole furry thing but luckily I made it out untouched and furry-free.

I’ll try to keep my blog posts interesting and fun to read but let me know if they’re starting to bore you. I’d like to make it a habit to post at least once or twice a week because I think it’s healthy to vent and write about what you’re up to.
